Charter Oak Fools
Welcome to The Charter Oak FOOLS

What does it mean to be a FOOL?
Fraternal Order Of Leatherheads Society members willingly take on the commitment to:
- Preserve the rich traditions and heritage of our chosen profession
- Better ourselves constantly with continual training
- Remember those Brother and Sister Firefighters that have gone before us in the performance of their duties
- Be true to the Fire Service
(Written by President Eric DePoto, Fraternal Order of Leatherheads Society, International)

Charter Oak FOOLS Mission Statement To achieve and maintain the highest levels of dedication and professionalism through training and education. To earn the trust and respect of our brothers and sisters wherever we go. To value and learn from those who have gone before us. To encourage and mentor those who will come after us. To honor our families and friends without whose support we would not be. To treat all members with the same consideration and regard for: Duty-Honor-Valor-Sacrifice. (Written by Member Bill Sampson, Charter Oak FOOLS)
THE KEGMAN KOMETH Kevin "Kegman" O'Keefe of the Puget Sound FOOLS made a stop to the Charter Oak FOOLS on his two week journey from Washington to Maine. The keg is passed on from the last year's convention host to this year's convention host. A good time was had by all.
